Adkins diet???????????

Have u done it?

Basically you cut out carbs and you eat a crap ton of protein. It’s been proven multiple times to be the LEAST healthful diet you can be on. People have gone into cardiac arrest, suffered from seizures, and gone into kidney and liver failure from this diet. If you want to change your eating, look at eating clean. There are a lot of books and magazines on it.

What fruits could you possibly eat on the Adkins diet?

You know, low carb fruits? I know I absolutely CANNOT have canned fruits, but supposedly frozen is okay.

These fruits contain the same nutritious elements as the common fruits and contribute as much to your diet: eggplant, egg-fruit, green pepper, hot pepper, avocado, red pepper, cucumber, tomato and zuchini.

These fruits are allowed even during the strict first 2 week induction period: avocado, sweet red, yellow or green pepper, cucumber. hot pepper, - 2 Tbspn lemon juice.

These fruits are allowed after the first 2 weeks: eggplant, egg-fruit, green pepper, hot pepper, avocado, red pepper, cucumber, tomato and zuchini. - 2 Tbspn lemon juice.

Berries can be included after 6 weeks & other fruit is allowed after 9 weeks.

Fructose, the sugar in most fruits, is the most lipogenic carb & does not promote fat loss. Fructose is converted to triglycerides in the liver & triglycerides "trap" fat in fat cells.
